Obituary for Kara Elizabeth Branham-Baisden

Kara Elizabeth Branham Baisden, 33 of Delbarton passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 4, 1986 in Logan, to Billy and Frankie Sturgill Branham of Delbarton. Kara was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Hazel Marie Branham, maternal grandparents Zane and Birdie Southers Sturgill, and father-in-law Michael Baisden.
Kara was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend to all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her loving memory include her husband Daniel Baisden, her parents Billy and Frankie Branham of Duncan Fork, one sister Margaret "Sugar" (Richard) Lawing of Missouri, one brother Levi (Brenda) Marcum of Duncan Fork, mother-in-law Rhoda Baisden, brothers-in-law Randy (Teana) Baisden, Sonny (Loretta) Baisden, Clifford (Rose Mary) Baisden, Matthew (Christina) Baisden, sisters-in-law Tammy (Ken) Friedwich, Juanita (Brandon) Marcum, and 12 nephews, 10 nieces, 4 great nephews, and 1 great niece.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Lily of the Valley Freewill Baptist Church at Riffe Branch, with pastor Gene Goodman and Pastor Jimmy Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Preece Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Marcum, Cliff Baisden, Matt Baisden, Sonny Baisden, Randy Baisden, Kyler Baisden, Buddy Marcum.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Richard Lawing.
Friends may call on the family on Tuesday starting at 5:00 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to help the family.
Honaker Funeral Home in Logan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
